LIVING DEAD DOLLS 2007 EXCLUSIVES
LDD Presents: Edgar Allan Poe & Annabel Lee
Living Dead Dolls Presents Edgar Allan Poe and Annabel Lee. The first Living Dead Doll Presents available worldwide. The American author, Edgar Allan Poefs final poem was Annabel Lee written in 1849 and published shortly after his death that same year.
It is unclear whether the Annabel Lee character in Poefs poem referred to a real person. Some say it was written for his wife, some for a lover, and others say that it was the product of Poe's gloomy imagination. From Annabel Lee:
The angels, not half so happy in Heaven,
Went envying her and me:--
Yes! that was the reason (as all men know,
In this kingdom by the sea)
That the wind came out of a cloud, chilling
And killing my Annabel Lee.
Outfitted in period clothes, Poe and Lee are packaged complete with a raven and a book of poetry.
LDD Presents: Leatherface
This year, on the heals of LDD Presents Jason from Friday the 13th part 3, Mezco rocks the horror, Goth and collectible worlds with LDD Presents Leatherface from Texas Chainsaw Massacre. The Living Dead Doll collaborators have put a spin on Living Dead Dolls and modern horror movie characters by merging the two licensed properties creating one premium property, Living Dead Dolls Presents: Packaged in a 5-panel deluxe window box, Leatherface wears navy pants, an ivory shirt, cowboy boots and an apron and comes with a chainsaw.
LDD Presents: House of 1000 Corpses
Rob Zombie's 2003 screenwriter and film director debut House of 1000 Corpses continues to capture movie goers worldwide. Most frequently called, "the most shocking tale of carnage ever seen"···Zombie's use of iconic horror characters is enchanting to horror junkies and terrifying to everyone else. The movie's plot which follows two teenage couples who travel across the backwoods of Texas searching for urban legends of serial killers and end up prisoners of a bizarre and sadistic backwater family of actual serial killers. House of 1000 Corpses is a natural fit for Mezco Toyz's Living Dead Dolls Presents line. The creators of Living Dead Dolls take a stand on contemporary horror film characters in their Living Dead Dolls Presents line. In the Presents line, LDD creators use their own twisted interpretation of the decadently horrifying living-dead to carefully create Otis Driftwood & The Cheerleader as Living Dead Dolls.
